Our tallow is not bleached, deodorised, or hydrogenated. We naturally render our tallow which leaves it white with a very lovely mild smell. Its composition, similar to human skin, allows for easy absorption, making it perfect for creating tallow balm, salves, and soaps. It is rich in nutrients and is also rich in vitamins A, D, E, K, and B1 and contains conjugated linoleic acid. It is also a fantastic healthy oil to use for cooking, crisping up potatoes and shallow frying and because of the neutral flavour, works brilliantly with pan-fried fish or shellfish. To use, warm if solid until pourable. Natural fat separation may occur, so stir before use. Do not pour the tallow down the drain, transfer it to a suitable container and dispose of it in the bin. For optimal freshness, store it in a refrigerator or cool pantry for up to twelve months. It is also suitable for freezing at home.
